The moorish king's orchard

Located in the centre of Seville, it's a urban garden managed by a neighbours' platform. This construction in the Mudejar style is from the 13th century, during the Christian Reconquest in Spain. There are two different ideas behind creation of the symbol: Oasis and Proximity. This oxymoron reflects eclecticism of the place and his target group.

Project name:   Huerto del Rey Moro
Client: Project proposal
Year: 2015

El Huerto del Rey Moro is a green public space managed by neighbours. One of the oldest places in Seville where urban agriculture serve as cohesive element of persons, ideas, learning and coexistence.
